TESO has supported Sail Den Helder for many editions and at the beginning of this new year announced that it would once again enter into a partnership agreement with Sail Den Helder for the 2023 edition. The signing of the agreement took place at the TESO terminal in Den Helder as a symbol of the commitment between Sail Den Helder and Texel.
Sail Den Helder will take place from June 29 to July 2, 2023, at the same time as the Marine Days. On the Wednesday prior to the event, a number of impressive sailing ships will moor in the harbor of Oudeschild or anchor on the roadstead of Texel. It is already the third edition of the pre-Sail on Texel with an extensive program on the quay for Texel residents and tourists. The next day you can see how a large part of the fleet is anchored off the coast of Texel and from there sails to the Sail event in Den Helder.
It is expected that around 350,000 residents and visitors will be able to enjoy the sailing ships, music performances, street theater and demonstrations during Sail Den Helder and the pre-Sails. Information about Sail Den Helder 2023 can be found at www.saildenhelder.nl.
